Longtime friend, Susan Wilson passed away Friday, September 21, 2007. Susan and Reed Wilson are the creators of the hand cast bronze dragon heads that we use to break dishes in the Fairapy Booth. When the Wilson’s broke dishes at Southern Faire, it was called “Plates of Wrath”. Their other game booth that year was “Cat-A-Pultz”, where freshly flattened felines were flung at plague infested rats. Susan made all the stuffed kitties and rats. The signs for all of their games were carved by Susan and her magic router. She also made signs for the Village of Koroneburg, where she ran the “Bloody Hook Ice Cream” booth. It is now called Ioreth’s Folly – if you’re in Corona, check out the amazing trim she carved for the building. The cookie cutter booth also has some of her woodworking in the form of carved 4×6’s and the Kaitlyn’s Kutters sign.
Susan Wilson was an imaginative, creative and talented woman and will be missed by her family and all who have known her. She was taken away too soon.

September 9th, 2007This is not the best picture, but the Pi cutter for Scott in San Diego came out so beautifully, I wanted everyone to see it. Of course, you’d want to use the Pi(e) Crust Goodies recipe with this cutter. I’ve been in Arizona a lot. We’ll be moving there by August of 2008. My husband is retiring, but I’ll still be bending metal and we will be coming back to California for selected faires and festivals. And, there’s the internet. We’ll still be able to communicate and the ebay store is going strong. Check out the new kutters I’ve just put there.
