This is Weebul (my Ric) at the Kutter Cottage.

We are at the village of Koroneburg this year for the last time (as far as we know). The renters did not come through for the cottage, so we are doing the faire one last time and putting the cottage and Fairapy up for sale. If you are in Southern California, we will be there every weekend through Father’s Day. Ric is only there on Saturdays and he’s doing great at that. The village just gets prettier every year, and the vines are coming back at the cottage.

Our place in Huntington Beach is also going up for sale. The latest plan is to move to the Arizona place in July. But, we’ve seen plans change before.

I am back to bending metal after an educational period of finding out everything I never wanted to know about liver disease, diabetes, herbs and vegan diets. I still cheat and have fish and eggs, but Ric is sticking to the strict vegan diet.

I lost a lot of emails in March and I’m catching up on a lot now. If you’ve put in a request, you’ll finally hear back. I just gave up for awhile. But, like I said, I’m back. The ebay store will be coming back too.

House M.D. Filmed in Koroneburg http://kaitlynskutters.com/2010/04/24/house-m-d-filmed-in-koroneburg/ Sat, 24 Apr 2010 15:36:07 +0000 http://kaitlynskutters.com/?p=195 The Renaissance Faire in Corona, CA (Koroneburg) will begin May 8th. Come see the place where House M.D. episode “Knight Fall” was filmed. Our little neighborhood in Koroneburg was chosen to be the Renaissance Faire in that episode for good reason. It is the only permanent ren faire site in California. The buildings and site just get more beautiful every year, and of course, our area of the faire is the best.
Those of you who have experienced our Fairapy booth will notice that the top floor is missing along with the window that showed the noggin’ bonkin’ upstairs. They put a new roof on the Fairapy building though and it does look good. Dishes will still be broken inside.
The cookie cutter booth became a weaver’s shop and our next door neighbors, the Hedgehogs, had their building become the apothecary shop (where the hemlock was found).
We’ve all been going out there on weekends to get the site looking great for the upcoming faire. Come join us and see the actual film site including the arena where the knights were fighting. See for yourself why Koroneburg was chosen.

In California http://kaitlynskutters.com/2009/03/25/in-california/ Wed, 25 Mar 2009 20:17:33 +0000 http://kaitlynskutters.com/2009/03/25/in-california/ I’m back in California. We’re trying to sell the Huntington Beach place – not the best time to be trying to sell. We’ve got Pirate Faire coming up in April. The 25-26 weekend is when Koroneburg becomes a pirate village and I like to make skulls and crossbones, pirate ships and, of course, lots of mermaids… It’s a fun time!

I’m getting together with my son to find out why I can’t seem to upload my pics to the web site. I’ve got some beautiful cookie pictures from Monrovia Bakery – you’ve just got to see them to believe them. The fairy was made with a new design of mine, a kneeling fairy. Then you don’t have to worry about legs breaking off.

The Cookie Cutter Collectors Club is getting ready for their big convention in California in 2010. I’m really excited about it. I missed the 2008 convention in Wisconsin last year and they only have them on even numbered years.

I’ll get back to you with lots of pics.

Koroneburg Has Begun http://kaitlynskutters.com/2008/05/04/golden-age-of-pyrates-festival-plagued-by-suspicious-fires-2/ Sun, 04 May 2008 19:39:33 +0000 http://kaitlynskutters.com/2008/05/04/golden-age-of-pyrates-festival-plagued-by-suspicious-fires-2/ ridingpig

The beautiful village of Koroneburg opened its gates to visitors, Mother’s Day Weekend and will be open every weekend thru Father’s Day. We will also be open all 3 days of Memorial Weekend. This is our 11th year at the permanent site in Corona, CA and the village has evolved into wonderful and distinctive neighborhoods. Our street is called the Way of the Bells – you can find out why whenever our parades come by. The cottage has grown up too, with a new canopy and new snail vines planted to replace the ones that froze in 2006.

The Arizona move is still going on schedule. It looks like we really will be moving out there by August of this year. But, rest assured, we will still be coming out to the festivals in Corona. It’s a wonderful place to relax and play.

Hope to see you all there. You can get more info at renaissanceinfo.com

Faire is over for now http://kaitlynskutters.com/2007/06/18/faire-is-over-for-now/ Mon, 18 Jun 2007 22:05:10 +0000 http://kaitlynskutters.com/2007/06/18/faire-is-over-for-now/ Gnomes in Koroneburg

June 17 was the last day of Koroneburg Renaissance Festival. The weather was perfect, the people were wonderful and gnomes started coming out of hiding. It was great to see new people visiting and hear their reactions to our village. There really is nothing like it.

Bad News & Something Good http://kaitlynskutters.com/2006/09/30/bad-news-something-good/ Sat, 30 Sep 2006 20:20:45 +0000 http://kaitlynskutters.com/2006/09/30/bad-news-something-good/ Unfortunately, Tom Wilson was forced to postpone the Galactic Playground indefinitely, due to a lack of interest from vendors. That’s the bad news. Now the good: he is opening the site for free on Sunday, October 8, 2006 to anyone who may be disappointed and wants to come play. Some of us still like to do that. Kaitlyn’s Kutters and Fairapy will be there disguised as “Milky Way Kookie Kutters” and “Flying Saucers”. (thank you Susan and Doormouse) I will be wearing my fun Jane Jetson type outfit. Hubby will be a hitchhiker with his guide and a towel. So put some aluminum foil on your head and come on out to Corona. Refreshments will be served.
